The engine renders a complete deliverable — Playbook, Workbook, Roadmap — from a single assessment result, in pure TypeScript. The four-step method now runs all the way through the Roadmap leg, not just to the gap.

A record of capability, not a commit log. Each entry is a thing the engine could not do before and can now. The version it landed in follows semver — a major bump signals a change to the five commitments and needs explicit approval.

Real-world validation
The engine’s hardest claim — that its readings agree with organizations assessed formally by people — has a published standard it has not yet cleared. When it does, that will be the entry that matters most. Until then, the changelog says so.

How versions move
- Patch / minor — additive capability, no change to the five commitments.
- Major — a change to the internal core (the four-step method, the three modes, the CMMI scale, behavioral evidence with a deterministic floor, audit logging). Requires explicit approval beyond a normal decision.
